Old fashion hotel, had a nice one person room with everything you need, in front of the central station complimentary public transport ticket is handed out by checking in, nice and friendly staff and yes a room with a key and the printed abc are not up to date in the hotels i use to go, but in the setting it is all completing the lovely atmosphere! The hotel has a age but is well maintained and the lovely service makes it complete! I had a wonderful short stay, will certainly book here next time when i will be in Hamburg!

Stayed here on a multi city trip. It's basically outside central station so trivial to get to. The room was very clean and decently spacious, the bathroom was pristine and very spacioua. Other amenities were great as well (free sparkling water in the room, free public transport day passes, great key management system).

If I'm in Hamburg (and there's availability) I'm most likely going to stay here again!

I received a very warm welcome after a full day of travelling, which was much appreciated. The hotel was seconds walk from Hamburg station, the room was plenty big enough for me, clean, tidy, had free bottle of water, tv, security safe. Yes there was a bit of noise from the street outside, but my earplugs fixed that no problem (I’m a light sleeper so always carry earplugs). It was the perfect place for me to rest after a long day.

The service at Hotel Fürst Bismarck was great, but our room was not sound proof (I could hear my neighbour snoring) and the quality of the breakfast buffet was low. Perhaps it's standard for a 3-star hotel, but I didn't feel like paying 16 Euros for the breakfast a second time. The breakfast room was cosy though and the staff attentive.
The location is good considering the proximity to the train station, but the neigbourhood felt rough (so perhaps not the best place for a family vacation).

The rooms had what was needed but the floors where crooked and where leaning from the windows towards the hall way. Bathroom was big and had a small tub only suitable for 1 person

Very conveniently located across from Hamburg Central Station (although the area around Central Station can be very sketchy). When booking this hotel through booking.com my room reservation came with a 2 day public transportation ticket. That came in handy!

Nice, cute hotel with friendly staff. The rooms were clean. There was enough food for the buffet breakfast and they serve your coffee, tea or hot cocoa on your table. The only thing that I don't like is the reception area it's quite small. But all in all, we had wonderful stay and the location is excellent!
