I have to write a paragraph on this place because woooowwww!
The reception at the entance was simply amazing. The young man was polite, patient and very friendly. The pictures on the walls were a welcome site for a young chef like myself. We were seated not too far from the window and later moved to a seat with a view. The service was impecable. And the warm meal was so welcome. Our waitress was so sweet and we coulndt resist just smilling at her. Come here if you want a meal served with love. Its not always perfect but it surely feels right.

As as starter I ordered pumpking soup. It was smooth and little bit sweet. For a main, I ordered rib eye well done. But I recomment to order medium.

Steaks were really nothing fancy and the filet mignon even tasted a bit off, not the best place for steaks in Hamburg but if you’re in a rush and want to catch your train it would be adequate however the staff is friendly and the place is nice on the inside

Was expecting way better quality and taste of food. One of the worst restaurants I had visited taste and quality wise. The staff was friendly but didn't look too happy working there so I wonder if it's also good conditions for them. You should definitely reconsider wasting some more money on actual good stuff and it will be greatly appreciated. Really poor for their prices as well. My steak was completely tasteless and the potato was very basic like I tried making it at home for the first time.

The starter salad is fresh and tasty, however the steak and even the kids menu are quite disappointing. Ordered a local German ribeye and an Argentina T-Bone, the quality of meat reminds me the tasty of the low priced beef from the supermarket. The T-Bone was overcooked( asked for medium but got almost well done) at the first, fortunately the waiter was very nice and had the kitchen made another serve for me—-but the taste of meat didn’t change that much. It simply doesn’t have the rich taste that the meat at this price level should have. The pasta bolognese from the kids menu was purely pasta with tomato source.....

This is the first blockhouse restaurant I have tried but probably also the last one. First time feel cheated by the high review score from google. One star for the salad and the other for the good service.

This place amazed me
Again

We came at a busy time u0026 evdntually got seated in a quiet area. The waitress did her very best to serve us straight up which we appreciated highly!
The meat u0026 how it was prepaired was just on another level!
Taken the service u0026 quality of the food into consideration this was excellent.

The utterly friendly waitress got a healthy well deserved tip

The ease of parking just across the street is very much in its favour.

I was there yesterday after the Pride parade. I have to agree with the reviews about the price/quality of the food. We order filet minion with fries and vegetables. The French Fries were the most skinniest fries ever and the vegetables were just potatoes, carrots, and unions. As far as I know, potato is not a vegetable! We paid 50 euros for tiny meat and french fries, more potatoes not even a side salad or anything. I will never return to this place, it felt like a tourist trap! The personnel is very very friendly and the place is beautiful from the inside. 2 starts for the personnel, otherwise it would have been -1.
