Acora City Apart Living the City in Hamburg was the most terrible experience I have ever tried. If I could give 0 stars I would do that.
Me and my family did not get the apartment we were promised. One day before arriving we talked to the hotel if everything was in order, and they told us that our apartment for 6 persons was ready the next day. When we arrived to the hotel, our apartment was given to another family two days ago. That means that the staff lied when we talked to them the day before. The Hotel could only give us two small rooms and could not live up to what we had paid for. The staff and hotel would not give us any compensation or could not even help us with anything. We had to take the two rooms because when you are a family it is not easy to get an apartment just like that. Furthermore the staff was rude and did not give us any good service at all and the pictures do not live up to the hotel in real life. They have the the worst service I have ever tried. Ex in the doorway to the apartments there were addicts "sleeping" for the night. The staff did not have any control over it. It is not a place for families.

I have tried many times to get in contact with the hotel, because I want a refund/compensation for our stay, but they do not respond. They only want to respond and stay in contact if you are a benefit for them. I have today send you one more email!

I wish I had not booked in it, the beds are completely uncomfortable, my back hurts.. the pillows are bad, the floor makes loud sound with moving.. we couldn't sleep, and the intercom system doesn't work, the elevator doesn't work either
I value it BIG ZERO ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Affordable, clean, secure, centrally located apartment. Had all that was needed for a quick visit to Hamburg. Recommended.

Very miserable experience.
We did not get the hotel room, we had paid for. The room we got instead was terrible, the food was very bad and the staff was rude.
Would not recommend this to anyone.

Not recommended at all. On our last morning there we saw a bedbug crawling on one of the beds. We examined the room to find out there were several more, some of them dead.

When checking out we told the receptionist and they said they would warn the staff in the hotel to look for a solution. We understood that maybe no one had noticed before as they seemed worried and willing to solve the problem. It makes me really mad to see in the reviews that several guests have complained about this over the last months and they did not solve the problem at all. I think this gives a very bad image of this hotel and how they concern about the well-being of their guests.

Short Version: Horrible. Simply Horrible. Hotel does not care about customers, is very filthy, and in a loud location. Long Version: Do not book any amount of time here, there are much better options. The negativity began as soon as we came to check in. Originally we had a 5 person room in a neighbouring Hotel Novum. This was booked months in advance. We arrive to find out they had given the room to someone else, after we had booked months in advance, just as we arrived from a long flight. The man at the desk had no sympathy, simply stating that our group would be split up into different groups in different hotels. We argued, and ended up here. Although it could only handle 4 people, we asked for some sheets to make a bed on the floor. These sheets, along with the other beds, had bedbugs crawling in them, as pictured, which bit us. The area is shady at night and can also get very loud, even at night. Elevator does not work either. This is not a place you want to spend any amount of time.

A bad start to the new year with this hotel. 0 stars if I could for the 5 terrible experience below -
1. WiFi was down for a good part of the stay, reception was informed but they didn’t do anything about it
2. Certain parts of the room had no electricity, including the toilet and in-build hairdryers. Imagining having to shower in relatively darkness having paid a fair bit to stay here
3. Shared kitchen was partially broken - the fridge wasn’t working and our food were spoilt
4. Room had a lingering stench when we entered - it was a mix of smoke and sweat
5. Uncouth receptionists located in a separate building who were visibly hung-over, uninterested and fumbling whilst checking us in or responding to our constant queries

Not the type of place you would consider to stay if you had a choice.
