Good: Location for sure and price. Good value for a bunk bed, as if i book a hostel i only go for wooden beds.
Lobby was nice a big and you can sit for a coffee and have a meal.
Very nice staff.

Bad: I was looking for private bathroom. This one, it was like they forced a toilet and shower in the room where there was not supposed to be any space! It was tiny, plastic, moving a lot and not comfortable. You knocked everywhere. Imagine portable toilet and shower in a bedroom. That is what it was.
I ended up using the shared bathroom because it was more comfortable.
If you are looking for a kitchen or sth, there is none.

The location was excellent for the price, and the rooms were clean. Downside was the size of the bathrooms, SUPER small however, there are shared bathroom options that were more comfortable and spacious! Fairly safe vibe too for female or solo travelers!

This hostel is a good choice for backpackers and students. It has a modern atmosphere to it. The staff is really friendly and the rooms are clean. There was free wifi, clean sheets, and lockers to store your luggage. Two of us stayed in an all-female, 6 bed dorm. One thing to be prepared for is that the bathroom and shower in the 6 bed dorm is really tiny.

Rooms were clean, shower and toilet were in the room however very small and bashing off the sides of the wall in them, plastic and they do move, there are shared showers and toilets in the hallway that are bigger though.

Staff were brillant, couldn't fault them, I was more of a problem for them than the other way round.

Location, when windows are open, you can hear many people partying, police and ambulance going by etc. So be mindful of this.

Apart from the above, the stay was good.

Pros:
-wonderful service everyone was very kind
-relatively clean
-excellent location

Cons:
-could not sleep due to the room being too hot at night, no aircon, one floor fan for a dorm room of 3 bunks to use, physically impossible for us all to share it; ruined my day as i barely got 3 hours of sleep (first day we somehow managed to keep the fan on us the whole night)
-'private' bathroom is a plastic thing reminiscent of a street toilet, absolutely cramped, tiny, impossible to use, I ended up using the shower in the hallway; my bad for not checking but i was expecting a common bathroom with multiple stalls/toilets and showers, instead there was one on every single floor and just some of them had hairdryers

asked for some sort of compensation, hotel was unable to provide anything and ghosted me after a second request

Lovely staff and great gusts!
Paula- my girl ya the best and loved the conversations we always had at the reception and thank you so much for the amazing ideas to see in Hamburg:))

The rooms tho are especially the bathrooms, we're dirty, no hand soap. Generally, most of the furniture as well as the building in general looks very old and used.

But else very nice place to stay other wise.

Amazing location, yet in serious need of renovation. I stayed in a shared female dorm for 2 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the condition of the room was very bad. The sink was blocked and the shower head was not working properly. There was peeling on the walls and there was no ventilation in the room, probably because one of the windows wouldn’t open.
