Stayed here in May 2022 Great wee hotel, rooms were clean- we had twin rooms, which were a bit on the small side but enough for what we needed (no tea or coffee making facilities though) and staff were friendly enough when we needed them.

Breakfast was enough for us there was bread, rolls, cheese, sliced meat, eggs cereal, fruit, yoghurt tea and coffee. (Not much choice for vegans though).

The hotel is nicely located to the train station and as with all main train stations there are a number of homeless people around but no one bothered us so it was fine.

I would stay here again

If this hotel would be in a Guinness world record book, it would be for the most missleading information possible. First of all, the picture of the hotel was a picture taken on the casino nearby. The hotel itself is hidden on the side.

Service wasn't too amazing either. Guy in front desk couldn't understand English. And took longer than expected to get room key. We had quite heavy bagage and I can't remember seeing an elevator anywhere. So we had to walk the Eifel tower to get to our room. There was a large staircase with about one hundred stairs in total.
In pure luck, we got a room on the forth floor, which was the second highest you could get, just seeing the staircase. It was a long journey there, but now finally over.

I had absolutely higher expectations than what I saw. The room was incredibly small, and the first thing I saw on the incredibly small bed was a piece of hair. Not fresh at all and felt very uncomfortable having to sleep there one night. It was absolutely the worst night of my semester, glad it only was one night though.

The breakfast was alright overall, I wouldn't say too much about it but it was decent. It's close to the train station which waz big plus, since we'd check out the other day.

Breakfast and surroundings were decent, but I still wouldn't recommend.

Overall a really bad experience. An old hotel renovated In the 90s. Small and dirty rooms. Personnel in reception was not service minded at all. Breakfast had a long waiting line leading up the hotel stairs and people waiting for breakfast sat in the stairs waiting. The area where Tha hotel is situated is full of homeless persons and the whole area worn down. We checked out after one night. If it would be possible to give minus stars that's what I had given.

Pros:
- walkable to train station with luggage
- quite nice breakfast
- very clean, fairly spacious room
- most front desk staff spoke English
- cheap!

Cons:
- bad area
- dirty and worn out lobby/hallways
- thin walls-- could easily hear conversations in the next room
- very uncomfortable and small (twin size) bed

FYI: Just a few blocks north is a MUCH NICER AREA.

What a mixed experience! To be fair, when you get a hotel near any train station in any country, you know what you're getting yourself into. But the area in front of this hotel (right next to a money wire and check cashing window with long lines all day) had me a little sketched out as a solo female traveler. I talked to multiple people both hotel employees and other people in the area that all said Hamburg isn't dangerous and I shouldn't be worried about being by myself and at night. I took their word for it, but there were definitely people hanging around the area, and even in the lobby at one point, that my better judgement warned me to stay far away from. The room was surprisingly nice compared to the rest of the hotel, but what it got points for in cleanliness it lost points for in comfort. However, it's most important for me that a room is clean, so it's worth reiterating. Ultimately I was also looking at the Boutique Hotel 020 for about the same price and wish I had gone for that, and recommend you do the same if you have the option. That area just 2 blocks away was much quieter and had many less people hanging around than Graf Moltke.

Uncomfortable beds, windows do not seal well, so the unbearable noise from the street enters the room all night. The TV gave problem on the first day. I booked for 2 adults + 2 children and the room only had 3 beds. It was such a bad experience that I left the hotel half way through the trip. I will give 2 stars only because at least the breakfast is very good and the staff very polite.

I will give 5*s for neatness and location . Rooms were well kept. Overall only 2*. No free breakfast and free internet as against mention in the Google overview. Almost flat pillows. Location is good just 2 minutes walk from Bahnhof. Ideal for short business stay. Not recommend for families with young children.

Cheap and cheerful bigger rooms that the hostel next door better for getting ready - no frills breakfast but did the job. The bar in the hostel is great to start a session if you're on a stag. Great location as it's by the train. Don't get a cab from the airport. Train ticket for 5 people 12 Euro. The train station has amazing choice of food and has a decent size food court!
