We had an unforgettable experience in Maredo Unter den Linden, Berlin today ❤️ We came to Berlin to celebrate the birthday. As my child wished a steak, I knew that Maredo is probably the best place to come for it. I contacted the location a day before asking them to sing the Happy birthday song while serving our steaks. The personal was so nice and friendly, welcomed us very warm and made everything we could feel comfortable. At the end they sad to have a surprise for us. When I saw it, I almost cried - they brought the Birthday cake with candles and congratulated again! I was deeply touched by this amazing action - it definitely made my day ???? and what about the bday kid? He's mega happy having his dreams come true ????
For sure, we found the place to dine while we're in BERlin ????????????

The restaurant was very spacious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was great and there is so much choice, also keep your eye out for deals. The salad bar was great, probably the best one I've been too. It's topped up regularly and fresh.

We ate lunch here and the foods were amazing. Personals really helped us about everything with a great smile. I highly recommend beef burger! Thank you guys for everything. This will be our first stop in Berlin!!

The quality of the food was not bad, but it took more than an hour and a quarter to serve us!  In response to my question, the staff only said that "we don't know when your food will be ready"! My child was hungry and tired and they didn't even accept to bring his fries sooner! After waiting for an hour and a quarter, my steak was served rare when I asked for it to be well-done!  I asked them to change it and wait again...!  My wife and child finished their dinner and I was still waiting, after 15 min they brought my food and I saw that they changed my oven potato to fries and because my child was very tired, I didn't ask to change it.  !  And they only said that they were sorry it happened because the resto was full !  But we paid attention that several families ordered food at the same time or after us, they ate and left and we were still waiting!  If the supermarket was open at that time, I would have preferred eating a simple club sandwich to this restaurant!  I will definitely not go there again and I will not recommend it!

"Good food, good mood" is a slogan painted on one of walls of this surprisingly big and open restaurant - and the quality of the food they served, indeed honors this quote.

The ribeye we ordered were quickly on our table, and soon accompanied with fries we couldn't get enough of. The meat was medium prepared like requested, but absolutely not medium in quality: without effort, the knife sunk into the ribeye and it was incredibly tasty. It felt like it did melt on your tongue.

The waiters were quick and attentive: they waited on purpose to serve our dessert to prevent it from melting when not everyone was present - this was communicated by them and asked on their iniative.

This was, by far, the best restaurant we visited during our stay in Berlin. Don't let the slogan fool you: the food is not "good", but outstanding.

SUMMARY: A restaurant with a nice interior and atmosphere, accompanied with professional waiters that quickly put food on the table that many other restaurants could learn from.

Maredo as maredo goes - good meat, nice salad bar, nice deserts. None world shocking but we like the consistent quality and they do have animal-friendly raised meat…

They have a nice indoor/yet outdoor space in the back and are often not that busy. Recommendation if you want no-complications good food!
