Nuremberg Main Market is the absolute best place to fine fresh food or fresh spices you don't normally find in the grocery store.
And a little of everything thing is there.
Including the tower of love.

Timing was perfect for the Herbstfest, the autumn market held in the main Nuremberg market square.
Loads of cool stands set up selling everything from kitchen gadgets to kids clothes. Sausage vendors abound.
At least 100 vendors selling goods in a picturesque setting with a fabulous church as a backdrop.
Photo ops everywhere
Handicap doable but the cobblestones could be tricky.

Final take... bring a camera or your phone, an appetite for those famous brats and enjoy the Gemuetlichkeit.

Beautiful market space with a gorgeous Cathedral. The Easter Market was absolutely lovely.

Really nice farmers market in the main square. Lots of vendors with fruits and vegetables. Also many food vendors. I let the kids each pick out what they wanted and they really enjoyed everything. Great pictures with all the colors.

My partner and I both got great lunches for under 13€ combined :) worth the stop if you’re on a tight schedule and don’t want to spend a lot at a restaurant
