This was my favorite restaurant in ALL of Nuremberg. Let's face it there is only so much sausage one person can eat! They have a chicken cordon Bleu that is absolutely outrageous! If it is warm out, sit outside and enjoy the breathtaking views of Nuremberg!!

This is a real hidden gem in my opinion. It's a great patio with an amazing view of Frauenkirche. The food was great (I had a delicious schnitzel) and the staff was very friendly and checked up on me regularly. I'm relatively new to living in Nürnberg so my German is not very good so the waiter switched to english right away. So don't worry if you can't speak german. Way better service than i've got at any of the other restaurants in Altstadt.

My favorite restaurant in Old Town Nuremberg. We were pleasantly surprised when we went up the stairs from the small entrance to see a beautiful terrace off the side overlooking Hauptmarkt. We were told it is a family owned restaurant that has been in the family for 50 years. The food was amazing. We loved it so much we ate their twice during our stay. Very friendly wait staff.

I'm an English speaker who only speaks a little German. Their menu is in German, but they were thrilled to provide me with an English menu.

The food was so delicious. The meal started off with a small liquor. I had the Nuremberg Red Beer with my meal, my wife had red wine. I had the pork shoulder and my wife had the pork roast. (I wanted the Duck, but they had sold out for the night.). We ended with the apple strudel.

I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant if you want an authentic German meal.

Great restaurant. Small prices, good portions of typical German recipees, waiting time is limited. Balcony looks nice but is very quickly overbooked
