Lovely restaurant with a friendly staff. I wasn’t sure what to order, but my waiter recommended the leberkäse and I’m so glad I tried it. All other customers seemed just as happy and satisfied as I was, and the restaurant was very accommodating with my meager German skills. Thanks for a lovely Sunday dinner!

This restaurant was recommended by a hotel staff. Their pork knuckle was nice. Sausages were not bad. The restaurant was very busy when we got there. Staff were ok, I would say they were super friendly.

Part of the tables are disposed for groups of 4 or more, if you are 2 and you agree you can be sited with other 2 completely unknown people. The food is tasty traditional German food irrigated generously with beer.

I have been years ago and was excellent, this time the experience was just above fair.
One of my friends is allergic to strawberries and we asked explicitly to have the dessert without it. Well... The vanilla mousse had no sliced strawberries on the side but was covered with strawberry sauce...
We looked for the waiter to complain bit he was outside smoking a cigarette, since the place was nearly empty.

Hope it will be better next time

Food was good. Fairly priced. Good atmosphere. We visited twice. The first time we had a female waitress. Very sweet lady. She did great.
The second visit we had a male older waiter. Horrible, no personality , we were in this restaurant 2 hours from start to finish mostly waiting on this man .. other waiters would not help us ... Only cutting his eyes and mumbling most likely un- pleasant things... Will not go back again...

Starting with the things that I liked, the food was great, even though it was rather expensive, and there was an English menu available, something you don't get to see too often in this area.
Obviously, though, I'm giving two stars for a reason: one of the waiters was rather unprepared and unfriendly, as I asked for the free dessert included in the Munich City Pass; they kept saying that I wasn't right in a harsh way, even though my pass, which I showed them, clearly told otherwise. After arguing for a few minutes, they finally allowed us to get our desserts. In the end, when I went to pay, they kept asking for a 10-30% tip, claiming that it was mandatory, which clearly wasn't, as of my experience in Munich, forcing me to pay, even though the service wasn't good at all.
There are far better options both in the area and in the whole Munich, as of my experience.
