Visited the store on 14 Jun 2022, was served by a lady who was very patient in showing us the watches we are interested to see, and was very customer oriented when we asked to try on different watches and enquire more about what to look out for in a purchase. We spent about 1.5 hours at the store and was delighted to purchase 2 watches afterwards. I hope all retail staff could be as patient and dedicated as she was ????

Visiting the store with a lot of enthusiasm and having such a bad experience to a place that I am ready to spend thousands. I was just wearing simple and casual clothes and getting judged from the moment I enter the shop. Because apparently I don’t look like a guy who can afford luxury watches? Getting misleading and wrong information about waiting list and my questions asked to the sales person. And when I give my ID getting judged from coming from a small country . It’s really disappointing really unfortunate. The only mistake I did was that I didn’t read the reviews which clearly depicts that they have a culture of discrimination.

I visited the store with my mother who was looking to buy a rolex. After visiting another retailer that told us all their pieces were on display only, we dropped by to this Bucherer outlet and asked the doorman if they were selling rolexes and he said yes, but none of the sales assistants were available at the moment so we decided to return the next day.

When we returned, granted 30 minutes to closing, the staff were all keeping the watches (which is fine, I understand retail and store closure procedures) but we were the only customers there and no one acknowledged us after we got our vaccinations checked. We literally stood awkwardly at the door near the rolex table trying to catch someone’s attention. I don’t know if this is typical of Europe as it is my first time here but as someone who has traveled around asia and is from sg, customer service is never like this, even in a mass clothing store like Zara, there will always be someone willing to help you regardless. And as someone who have worked in the luxury industry and even got a glimpse into the watch industry, I got the understanding that the price you are paying is not only for the quality, brand status and craftsmanship, but for the entire consumer experience! This store clearly did not get that memo, so much for marketing communications and “taking pride in service” (i mean we were the only ones in the store)

When we finally grabbed a sales assistant’s attention, it was clear that he wanted to just clear his things and not serve us. He said that none of the Rolexes were for sale and were all for display pieces. and that there were essentially no rolexes in the whole of germany and (worldwide) for sale. How does that even make any sense. I don’t know if the system for purchasing a rolex has changed and is on a waiting list or order system compared to the past but he didn’t bother exposing it. He also said that we should go back and buy in our country lol micro aggression muxh? Sorry we aren’t white???

If germany has this new policy where tourists aren’t allowed to purchase watches FINE but clearly he didn’t bother explaining and just wanted us out the store. Wow Bucherer and Rolex such service and exclusivity I guess? Seems to me that your staff are snobbish and not interested in making their commission! So much for revitalising the tourist sector and consumer economy!

Seriously I thought shopping in europe was suppose to be the best experience but I thought wrong.

If anyone asks, why not just go to the Rolex store itself? Well there is a Rolex/ Patek Phillipe store across the road which i think are also run by Bucherer (i could be wrong) and they won’t even let you in without making an appointment (by calling). Not the best if you’re travelling on a tight timeline but just take note of you’re interested in going. Not sure if you can actually purchase anything though since the sales person from Bucherer made it sound like there’s not a single piece in the entire germany for sale. Didn’t even bother answering our question when we asked if we can buy in Berlin.

I was ordering a Blue Oyster rolex. She said on the phone please come anytime. When we reached the shop she said this is not the preferred watch in Europe ...so she was happy to sell a used watch!!!! Poor customer service and I wonder how they make money with such poor Customee service!!! Rolex! You are strong at heart and weak with the hands that give you away!

We have been customers of Bucherer for many years and have always been satisfied - until the last two weeks. We wanted to buy our children a birthday present and made enquiries, clearly stating our budget. The first saleslady suggested the Longine line -which we also found perfect- she gave us a brochure and told us to make an appointment with her. A few days after, we were in town and decided to drop in at Bucherer to make more concrete plans. Unfortunately we had such an unpleasant saleslady - she was polite in the beginning - until she realised that we were not looking at watches in the price range where I assume her commision would be worth it! She tried to convince us that a watch in the "lower" price range of1000-1500 Euros woul break down after 3 years and that it would make more sense to buy something twice as expensive!
Assuming that we had just been unlucky with this sales person we made an appointment with the first saleslady for a surprise for our children. We were also assured that the watches we were aiming for were available in the shop. Due to unforeseeable circumstances (from Bucherer) , the first appointment had to be postponed . When we arrived for the confirmed rescheduled appointment, we were inforned that the saleslady was not there anymore. Nothing had been prepared and the "new" saleslady could not help us as she " normally only worked on the ground floor" (where the expensive watches are..) . When we aired our disappointment she became passive aggressive.
There is a light at the end of this story.
If you are looking for Bucherer's fine watches we recommend you to go to Bucherer's corner in Oberpollinger where the staff are kind, friendly, competent and willing to make a sale! Thank you Mrs Yongqin Allers for saving the day! Your colleagues in the Residenzstrasse could take a few lessons from you!

Really bad experience. The sales advisor didn't provide any seats, water and was even too lazy to get several Rolex models we asked for. In terms of customer service the arrogant heavy blond lady needs to get some training.

Very friendly staff with great knowledge about the products they sell, and there's a stunning range of watches from around €1-2k up to the very highest end products.
