This is very tiny café, and not enough space for such a good food. There is usual lines of clients. First day when we came special to visit this place I was so disappointed to see this situation. Next day we have manage to enter and pick up last available table. The food , especially a breakfast, a bread itself is very tasty. The service is nice a d helpful. You don't wait for your order to come. Everything is fast and efficient. Prices are a bit too high , but this is in the heart of Munich , at very touristic street. So that's the price for it.

The choco croissant is little bit different compared to the one I usually eat. Not sure which one is the original one. The chocolate is way too sweet for me. Perhaps it is only my taste.
The place is lively and comfortable, small table and small chair inside. It can be little bit crowded. It seems very popular!

Only high - quality and lovely items here. I came for a Sonnenleder pen/pencil case but had a delightful time browsing the other offerings, including many fine papers, writing instruments and accessories, and diverse notebooks. An equally tempting range of first - rate utensils and accoutrements to be found for gardening, kitchen and bath, fine knives, and so on. The in-house cafe is also clearly popular. Prices are reasonable for the quality offered and staff are knowledgeable and friendly - not always the case in such shops here.

really unmotivated and unfriendly service. I have a nut allergy - the allergens are not listed on the menu. I wanted to order one of the sandwiches but was told they did not have that, they had only another one which came with pesto. So I asked if the pesto has nuts (since it usually is made with nuts) and was simply told "I don't know". Would it hurt to ask? Bad service is one thing but allergens are not a joke. I find they are also rarely taken seriously here in Munich. Also, I am in the food business myself, and train all my staff to answer customers questions about allergens - its life or death for some people and its really a shame to see such a "high end" cafe not take it seriously. We wont be back.

I must say that the pastries here were not very good and they were not cheap either. The place was very busy so I guess people come here for another reason but avoid the pastries, both the croissant and cinnamon roll where pretty bad, much better bakeries nearby.
