I did not spend the time I had loved to there, but it is a beautiful market outdoors that has so many different products. I must come back soon to give it the proper attention and to actually buy things :).

Great produce market in the middle of Munich. Mix of offerings for tourists but also good amount of produce and deli. The Beergarden in the middle is also great. The tables with tablecloths are waiter serviced area where one can order food. The plain tables are self service and one can bring own food as long as purchasing a drink.
Great way to mingle with other people on the big communal tables.

Nice market with plenty of fruits and vegetables. Places where you can taste traditional German sandwich sausages or rosted pork with crispy skin. A beer garden can be found on the middle always crowded. A mast to see when visiting Munich.

An open aired market in Munich showcasing its finest cheeses, pretzels, sausages and other interesting and yummy food from the local area. We spent a few hours here in the morning (9am ish) and had a coffee and pastry for breakfast. It was nice and quiet so if you to beat the crowds, I would suggest going early. Lovely vendors who were welcoming and spoke very good English!

This is a very busy and touristy place. We have quick lunch at the beer garden, food is average and price is slightly above average but is reasonable in touristy place; but the vibrant ambiance make up for it.
It was about 5 min walking distance from Marienplatz, and there are many stores and stalls selling unique foods (e.g smoked meat).
Definitely recommend this place for exploration and ambiance.

This market is a tourist magnet, and also rightfully so. There are a lot of booths where you can try various food, you can buy flowers, drinks, and a lot of other items. The belly of Munich and at the same time paradise. Great fresh fruit and veg regional and organic
Large selection of delicious cheeses
Friendly staff and pleasant relaxed atmosphere

A high point of any visit to Munich. Aside from the lively atmosphere, it's well worth visiting for the food stalls with their delicious local fare and the numerous spice stalls which up all kinds of exotic herbal mixes.
