I visited the Nordsee, more for the oyster bar than the take away. The wine pour was generous and the Lobster tail was cooked just right. I like the Nordsee because I can get a nice meal quick, without the fuse of a fancy restaurant. Just great.

Food is okay, but expensive and honestly not that sanitary. I see wasps and flies landing on the fish, and the potato + mushrooms spill over into the fried filets, etc. before staff picks them back up. Pricing is a bit manipulative: 1 filet was €9.29, but the menu offered 2 fillets and sides plus drink for €9.79; this wasn’t made clear and they refused to do the menu offer when I checked out. They mostly benefit from their central location in the Viktualienmarkt.

We got a dried out shrink shrimps when we said yes to the shrimp on the soup for unexpected additional 3 euro…. Well, I feel this chain restaurant has a problem with the personnel . It’s not only this place…. They shouldn't be involved with food unless they learn hygiene, taste and service. It's a shame because I like the concept and fish.

Food ís ok, although the fast servicing food can be heavy. What bother me the most is that paying customer need to pay for access to the bathroom, so if you don't have coins that you can't use the restroom. Not very practical for paying guests at a restaurant.

I love seafood! That's why I gave it the highest score. I don't see anything around when I eat fresh and tasty fish ????
