Good hotel. The rooms are clean and air conditioned. The service is good. Very close to bus and tram stations so it is not challenging to take to Munich East Central Station. However, it takes some time to go to the station by walk.
All in all, I liked the hotel and it is one of my recommended places for future trips to Munich.

Very clean complete rooms. A chair AND sofa! Good breakfast with a lot of choose. Free parking under the hotel. Only negative item was that for us it was not clear which of the parking slots are to be used for hotel guests. I filled in the online review from the hotel but for some reason they do not asked in the review for improvement suggestions. Let’s see if they act on Google maps. ????

The hotel is located about 10min walk from Munich east train station which is a transportation hub with metro and rail services. Front desk is quick and efficient, room is decent in size, clean breakfast offering is a nice spread of juice, bread, yogurt etc……. May not the best choice for family vacation due to off center location but definitely worth 5 star review

We booked residence inn for 12 days. The reason I have 3 stars based on hospitality, services and cleanliness.
However, the Buffet Breakfast is quite disappointing. It's been 6 days and not even once they considered in making warm breakfast for vegans and vegetarians. Only ample of item in meat and eggs.
I wasn't expecting Marriott being a global brand in hotel industry wouldn't cater to the needs of vegans and vegetarians.
We made the suggestion to the reception, customer care and yet till now, no change in menu.

Nice room and good breakfast, we didn't like the check in process as we had to wait for 20mins in line. The room was clean except underneath the couch there was dirt from previous guests. Also liked the fact they allow pets.

I stayed in Residence Inn for a month and I never felt I am living in a hotel room. everything was clean and neat. breakfast and restaurant was also really clean and tasty. I strongly recommend anyone who is willing to visit Munich, prefer to stay in the center and have a cosy room.

Very lovely hotel with friendly staff. Long check-in queue when I arrived but it didn't bother me - a testament to its popularity if anything.

Only two minor issues: 1. Contactless payment failed and front desk staff apologised admitting the card machines were a bit out of date - but not a big problem for me as I had my physical cards 2. The front desk is at the adjacent Courtyard so finding your way to the correct passage and lifts might not be easy for first timers. After my check-in, somehow I found myself in their kitchen, totally lost, but mastered the routes immediately after the friendly bar staff showed me the correct way.

Overall still excellent experience so 5 stars!
