Motel One is one of my favourite brands because the service is just so damn good.

Every time I’ve stayed, I’ve blown away by how helpful and friendly the staff team are.

I was early so all my bags were taken and stored securely, the bar/reception at this hotel is huge, warm and comfortable so I stayed here for a while and used the consistently fast WiFi.

I came back was still early for my room, but even though reception was busy, the bar was doing lunch and it was a busy weekend, they checked me in and got me to my room quickly.

The room itself is good, big windows, air-con seemed locked off so I opened a window, bed was a double, big and comfortable and had plenty of space to work and rest.

Breakfast was a huge range of food, drinks and catered for all food eaters, and it really makes use the huge bar/reception area and staff are constantly refilling the food and drink stations.

For a fully booked hotel, they handled it well and overall my experience, it’s location (right next to Münich East station and near the main street is a real bonus!

Very impressed and it competes with some of the major luxury chains I’ve stayed at.

August 2022: There is a huge construction site right next to the motel1, the noise is unbearable during the day. Prices should be reduced drastically for those rooms affected. This will certainly go on for longer time. Check beforehand if you get a room on the side with the construction site or not. All else was fine.

First of all The Barkeeper was super professional and friendly and fast, the receptionist also.
The room was as perfect as i waited.
I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Had a quick stay here for one night, rooms were clean and staff helpful. Rooms had all necessary ammeneties. Good price.

Nice rooms, clean and well decorated. Location is on a main road with heavy traffic. Rooms are nevertheless quite, well shielding windows.

I am bias in this review because i am compering this hotel with Hilton or Marriot. Cost similar though. This hotel is exclusively for people who just need a place to sleep and done. No restaurant or gym. The rooms are very small. I was in a business trip but they did not have an iron board in the room. I have to ask one in reception.
