I heard rumours that best croissant in Munich is made by Claude u0026 Julien, so I had to give a try. I haven't been to France yet, but I felt like I was in a cafe in Provence immediately. Pain au Chocolat tastes heavenly and also coffee was quite good.

Amazing French bakery, feels like a slice of Paris right in the middle of Munich. Everything is fresh, but you must be early to get the best selection of delicious sweets. Highly recommend it!

The lemon cakes and everything else is absolutely amazing there! The prices are pretty high but it is a little understandable. The service in total is kind but sometimes a bit shy.

Claude u0026 Julien baked and delivered cakes and macarons for our wedding in the south of Munich. Everything was delicious! Thanks for the great work.
We got a meeting with them before the event to be able to try and select the cakes. Communication went thru WhatsApp.

This small French bakery made my gloomy Sunday morning brighter ????. Everything I tried is delicious and has love in it. So if you feel like brightening your day, this is the place to do it. Happy enjoying life ❤️

Simply the best, authentic French viennoiseries (that include croissants and pains au chocolat) and baguettes in Munich. Once I grabbed a pain à la framboise (raspberry) with a beautiful pink crispy caramel on the crust, truly gorgeous. They also offer beautiful pâtisseries, it is not cheap but very delicious. My go to place when I miss France. Very friendly service and I greatly appreciate that I spoke German the very first time, they switched into French naturally. And btw I have a gluten intolerance but I make exceptions, haha.

If you thought their croissants were to-die-for, try their pain au chocolat. It’s divine. The eclair is top notch. No pretenses here. Authentic French cafe. The smell of the butter and baking draws you right in. If you are around Ostbahnhof, don’t forget to drop by. It’s totally worth it.

PS: a couple of times, when the curtain wasn’t drawn, we could watch the bakers at work. Rolling out tray after trays. It will build your appetite, surely!
