Come here for the Frülingsfest the Baby Oktoberfest. Get dressed up, come with some friends and enjoy a beer and some tasty food!

Cannot recommend enough for those that want something a lot less touristy.

I remember my experience- me and my friend being shoved of the side of a bench by a group of young Germans. Not friendly and not welcoming. Then the whole crowd jeering us to go away. Sorry for being non German I guess .

Racist worker! One security worker asked us to open bags when we finished our meal and leaving from the exit. Then I realized his motivation so I asked why. He answered that there were some thefts. But he did not ask any Caucasian the same thing. Strongly suspect that the worker is racist and do not respect Asian people.

The fun fair is good, only two rides for small young kids but fun enough
Tokens that you buy you can only use them in each particular place. Every place has its own token.
Next to the fair there s a live music outdoors stage, good music fun and there’s also booze and food for sale

Frühlingsfest menus are a total rip off...

Super overpriced (40eur p.p.) for both the quantity and the quality. Some persons in the group did not even receive bread for their Brotzeit. No sides with the chicken, and with the dessert some persons did not receive everything again.

Very disappointed by Hippodrom with regards to the frühlingsfest.
I prebooked a table for 10 persons in February, paying 10€ per person. They asked me then in March to select a menu from their very limited options: either a predefined menu (including each time a starter, a non vegetarian dish and a dessert. but no voucher for beers at all -_-) for 40 or 50€ per person, or the a la carte menu with possible vegetarian dishes, for 52€ per person.
This was never required when i performed my prebooking, and their customer service was only able to offer me the alternative to simply cancel my reservation if I am not satisfied with their offer. They did not propose any compromise or accept mine, because they have more reservation request with people willing to accept these expensive conditions!
What is interesting, is that they did not even deny when I accused them of lying to their customers, or bothered to provide any explanation when I asked them: how their change of conditions would apply to me while I booked under other conditions?! :/

Therefore this long review now as my easier way to strike back, and try to convince you to not accept such unprofessional behaviour and to not give them any of your money!

There is much better places to go in city, and so many options to drink good beers :)

The place is fun, but food is not so great
