I was in a 6 person shared room for one night in summer. The room was so warm that we couldn't sleep at night. We left the place at 3 am as it felt suffocating. There was only one window and that too couldn't be opened properly. Sadly, that was the only one way of ventilation. The room is also very congested with all the three bunk beds.

The kitchen can't be also used after 10pm and there is no other dining space in the hostel. Besides, to use the kitchen facilities you need to deposit 20 euro first. They will return the money after you give the kitchen key back I guess. We couldn't use the kitchen as we asked for it after 10 pm.
Apart from that, the bathroom is clean and the room was clean.

The accommodation was adequate. The beds are comfy, and there is lockers underneath the beds. The curtains block put all light, so good for a lay in.
However, upon arrival, there was a huge queue, and people were waiting for a long time. There was 3 maximum people on the reception, and they were all arguing and getting confused at the misinterpretation of information and relaying of information - both between customers and themselves.

au0026o Hostel München Hackerbrücke is indeed a VERY inexpensive hostel. People who came on a business trip and youth can afford it. The breakfasts are delicious and cater for a variety of tastes. There's even lactose-free yogurt! The employees are very friendly and responsive. The hostel is friendly to the pets! Some rooms are currently undergoing renovations. This is great - the owners think about the beauty and comfort of the guests. The only thing that did not suit me was the inability to open the window fully for more ventilation.

Staff behaviour could have been more cheerful and motivated. Welcoming with dread, exhausted and unmotivated faces is never never a good welcome. Room was clean and comfortable. Though it was far away from reality what they have shown on Website. Check on the small details from website, like Bedsheet and cover needs to bring from home or else pay 3.5 euros extra.

Will definitely come back on my next trip to Munich! ????
