We did not book, but fortunately, Sunday evening they squeezed us in, and my goodness we are so glad they did. Excellent food, superbly cooked, service was understandably a little slow, but hey, on holiday, what does it matter, just have another beer. Highly recommended.

Rather lacklustre service, pretty basic decor, seafood salad starter was huge but rubbery octopus (only other component was basic shrimps) and over-vinegared. Pasta ok, nicely al dente, but ragu nothing special. Prices of high end gastronomy. Could do a lot better.

Been coming to Heidelberg for the last 4 years and never heard about this hidden jewel. This in my personal opinion the best real home cooked italian food there is in whole Heidelberg. Cosy atmosphere and the owner Mr. Angelo along with workers they make feel you are at your own home and they are very pleasant. Food is awesome and made with passion.
I have been going there almost every day with my family and as soon as we walked out of the restaurant door we wanted to go back. Must must try this amazing place.........

This a jewel in Heidelberg!!
The best Italian Restaurant that I have been outside of Italy. And I have been in more than one hundred Italian restaurants around the world.
This Restaurant reminds me the best ones that i have been in small villages at Toscana!!

Very good but higher priced meals. Excellent atmosphere, nice service. Luckily not over-crowded.

Go for it if you like great food at a great a place!
