Stayed in a family room for 1 night; convenient location for station, room clean and comfortable, good facilities. Super breakfast, nice lobby with piano bar, really nice vibe.
No air conditioning so room was slightly hot, but it was surprisingly quiet even with the windows open. Helpful and friendly staff at check in.

Gym is closed since 2 years and when booking via 3rd party website nothing mentioned that it was closed
Room is outdated, don't know if it is on purpose but it bring a flavor of hotel from the 60s which could be a positive point but in my case the bed was way too small and not comfortable and the bathroom not properly cleaned
When going to the reception to ask why the bed was so small, I got screamed at by the man at reception telling me that this is German Standard and that I should have booked a bigger room...
The breakfast is very limited and the bread was from the day before
The street is very noisy and depending on what side you enter it is full of night worker
All of this could be acceptable for a room at 40 euros a night not for a room over 100 euros.

4 stars that are in reality 3 stars (MAX).

Very disappointed and will never go back

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The hotel is very clean, breakfast was so delicious. The team members were all helpful and supportive. We want yo thank especially Mr Mario Waheeb for his continuous help and his advice on many aspects.

Advertised as a 4-star hotel, it is at best a 3-star property. The convenient location and good breakfast save this hotel from a 1-star review.

While the room was OK, it felt quite dated, and would benefit from a renovation or update. The level of service was rather poor, and I did not really feel welcomed as a guest by most of the staff on their respective shifts (except for the breakfast staff who were lovely).
When I said goodbye, there was not even a friendly, or any reply back from the staff, which left a rather unpleasant impression.

This hotel could have been so good. However, 2 things really spoiled my visit. Firstly, there was no air conditioning. When I arrived, my room was easily 35ºC, and barely cooled down the whole time I was there. Secondly, the free WiFi signal was so poor it was unusable. This meant I had to rely on tethering my mobile instead.

On the plus side, the staff were friendly, breakfast was tasty and generous, and they give you a free travel card for the U- and S-bahn and buses.

Stayed here for one night. Overall was the staff really nice and helpful. Bug brekkie, with different foods. Big selection of coffee and tea, and they have soy and lactose free milk. Points for that. You get a free ticket for transport, which is awesome! That's a plus, and as a guest you can use their spa facilities free. Nice pool, and a lot of seating areas. Overall a really nice stay. Plus the central station is right across from the hotel, and the inner part if the city is close as well.

Friendly reception, nice clean rooms and main areas. Loved the lounge, which was so comfortable and served delicious cocktails. Amazing free breakfast with many options, including and amazing automatic espresso and coffee machine. Mini bar was fair pricing compared to any other hotels I've been too. I was also pleasantly surprised when given the complimentary local transportation pass for all the days of the stay. This was so helpful for exploring the beautiful city of Hamburg!! Great location directly across street from main train station, a grocery store, and pharmacy. Swimming pool was clean and a great place to relax. There was no air conditioning, which I was aware of before booking. It was not an issue for us, and we were comfortable sleeping with a light blanket and the window open. Rooms are not large, but very comfortable with lots of storage places, including a safe. We came from Canada, and had a very pleasant two night stay here before heading out to Wacken. Would love to come back again!
