The Coffee was good, the cake was good, the place was good, but the waiter was not. We ordered inside and took it outside, and he came and yelled at us saying. , we were not supposed to sit outside because outside seats were not for self service. He could have told that politely, but it was plain telling.

This was the worst experience i had i. Freiburg. I had bought a sandvic for my kid from another bakery, the guy working as barista said they will not serve me because i had a product from another bakery. I said that we will not eat it and order new food from kolben, he said he will still not serve. Especially this guy was super rude and i never had such a terrible service experience before.

Friendly staff, cozy sitting area and a nostalgic, safe vibe with good quality coffee, freshly baked goods and clean washrooms. Amazing place for family, kids, meetings and of course coffee

It's really good place to try famous Schwarzwald dessert. This amazing cake and a lot of another sweet things are fresh and tasty. Coffee is also very good. Here you can buy nice cups and roasted coffee with symbols of this region.
