My family came to Freiburg and needed a last minute hotel reservation. The staff at Hotel Minerva were so welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. They were always friendly and even remembered our favorite breakfast items when we came back down on our second morning. Superb customer service. Would 10/10 recommend, and I hope to be returning myself sometime soon.

A delightful find! The staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was wonderful! Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The service was better than a recent four star hotel we stayed in. It is a quiet location, but close to everything in the old city center. The parking garage (and train station) are very close and many restaurants near by.

I booked a room in this hotel because my sister was staying there. I.o.w. no research and thus no expectations. The price was low, so that did not increase expectations (I normally stay in expensive hotels). To make a long story short, this hotel has all the basics right: friendly owners / personel, good bed, no noise, centrally located, safe and spacious parking space for my Ferrari for a low price (under the train station around the corner). Full marks in order.

We have stayed here twice and will do so again. The Minerva is an easy walk from the Hauptbahnhof. The rooms we've had are very comfortable; breakfasts are delicious with everything in abundance. As an added benefit, each guest receives a pass for local transportation.

Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Excellent traditional hotel in the heart of Freiburg, includes a great breakfast. Slow WiFi was my only gripe
