Stayed one night with family in two rooms. Nice hotel, clean room (maybe a little bit small if one has multiple large bags, but I guess size is in a normal range for a city hotel), good and quiet location near center and train station, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast with many choices, fridge in room was also practical.

Perfect location for a trip in Friburg. Super friendly staff and nice rooms with AC. Vegan nutella for breakfast and oat milk are big plus.

Wonderful family run hotel, great service, spacious modern rooms. They were very accommodating of my small kids and the room was very comfortable. Great location for walking into downtown.

Absolutely loved this place. Wow! For the price we paid, we got two large rooms which for four of us was a real treat. The family and people running this place were friendly and helpful. Typical of "family" hotels in old Europe there was no elevator so be forewarned. BUT the gentleman at the desk helped us with our luggage which he did not have to. Bottom line not a big deal at all. The rooms were super nice, clean and well appointed. Balcony off the one where I enjoyed a few late night brews and soaked it all in. Walking distance to all of the main sites in old Freiburg. We never used our car at all. Beds great. Breakfast was wonderful. Well done. Parking was a little ways away so just be forewarned about that, but again, well organized and safe. We did not need our car in Freiburg. We stayed for two nights, but would have loved to stay for a week and hopefully in future we will. THANK YOU!!!

The rooms are very small and no room to place and open your luggage. Hard for two people to move around the room. There is no lift in this hotel. You have to lug your luggage one floor just to reach reception. I would not recommended this hotel for seniors unless you are very strong and can carry your luggage at least two floor. The staff was very cordial and friendly and they did offer a typical European style breakfast.

Absolutely perfect location. 3 minute walk to and from the bus/train station Hbf and about the same to the cobblestone streets of Old Town. Very grateful for a multi-lingual staff. Very clean, quiet, and secure. I felt very safe traveling solo. The breakfast is very good and included in the price. Wonderful and kind service.

Love this place. The host was a lovely helpful man. Lots of choice for breakfast, even a boiled egg cooked to order. The room is a little small, but we just have to get cozy. And a nice cherry marmalade as a parting gift.
