We visited the exhibition on a weekday. I'm not really that interested in the kinds of things they present but I must say I was impressed. I really enjoyed learning stuff about all kinds of eras. Really interesting even if you're not that much into all that. There was also a live concert just outside where they played These long bavarian horns. Really fit the atmosohere. I dont know if we were just lucky or if they play more often. Can absolutely recommend for any touristes or visitors :)

It's a very nice museum ???? I really loved the Roman section and they kinda used interactive methods to show you how the technology at that time was, which is in my opinion is very cool!! I went there when they the event Habalukke, it was pretty interesting to see this point of view about history and archeology. Definitely worth a visit.
P.S they offer tours in German, English, and French.

Small museum but very nice, with really cool exhibits and a lot of small interactive games for the visitors to try. Informative for a cheap price, I would definitely recommend it. The museum staff is also super friendly.

A very interesting museum in a beautiful building. We were told that only the last room would have English information boards in it but in fact all of the rooms did which we weren't expecting so was an added bonus.

Small museum in a beautiful building. The chronological story from early prehistoric mankind to the middle ages is well narrated, with excellently chosen artefacts. They make it very clear how technological evolutions have shaped societies. Two hours well spent. The 7€ ticket provides access to the other city museums as well.

Interesting small museum in historic building. Archaeological finds. Very few English translations of signs which was a pity.
