1 of the worst lounges I have been to. It is located landside. I would have preferred that it is airside so that you have would have cleared security and immigration, have a better control over your time and be able to relax in the lounge, just waiting to board.
Lounge setting is old fashioned, seats placed close together and not enough room. Tables were not cleaned fast enough. So new guests had to clear previous guests' leftover plates, cups and crumbs to free it up.
Choice of food is limited during breakfast. If you have to pay to enter, I suggest go elsewhere. This is definitely not worth it.

The staff here are extremely nice and hospitable, i was met by Patricia at the reception who was very welcoming and helpful, it was my first time so she took the time to explain whats on the venue. i appreciated that so much. the washrooms are clean and the showers aswell...the food selection is not impressive however its good enough, unlimited juice water and a selection of spirits for the alcoholics... remember, this place is before you cross to the sterile area, so you'll get your bpass then before immigration and screening you'd spend some time.... if you are connecting you will have to enter FRA, there is no access before clearing immigration..... thanks for the nice experience, will def. Be back.

This is a small and cozy lounge in Terminal 1. You don't even need a boarding pass to enter, as you don't need to pass security to get inside. During the quieter hours, it's very comfortable. The chair is soft, and there's enough room for everybody. The food is very German ;) Personally, I love the classic Kartoffelsalat the most! Overall, it's clean and the people working here are very friendly. Because this lounge is very cozy, you can't avoid people making calls and when it's full of people talking, it can be a bit loud. For the main part, you should still be able to find a quieter corner, either in the first sitting area or the eating area.

Good place to relax before a long flight, really nice shower with many amenities, clean and warm. The place is a bit outdated, not too comfy lounge chairs, food it's okay, and the receptionist likes to talk out loud ????. When I was there only one wing and one shower room was open. Men's toilet ???? a bit too dark.

This is our second time here...what a disappointment comparing to others lounges available.
VERY far from all departure gates and outside of security. Not easy to find.
Dated furnishings , dirty carpet/floors.
Limited food and beverage offerings and of low quality.
Warm and kind welcome by staff.
Old place that is anything but luxurious.

My baby-son and I went to this lounge yesterday after arriving at the airport by train. The lounge attendants were very considerate and helpful and pro-actively offered us the meeting room for some privacy (and probably also so that the other guests can enjoy their lounge visit in peace and quiet).
The lounge is landside and we accessed it via my credit card.

I do not think that the negative reviews are justified
Food and drinks:
The food selection is okay (for a Credit Card Lounge): beef Frankfurter, potato salad some bread and salad. It certainly can be improved. But
I have seen worse lounges.
Drink selection includes soft drinks, beer, wine and some booze (e.g. Finsbury Gin).

Location:
Yes, the lounge is landside and this can disadvantageous. Especially when you enjoy relaxing at a lounge between passing security and waiting for boarding.
But there are scenarios where I prefer a landside connection: In the future I will use it instead of the Deutsche Bahn Lounge when traveling by train. It’s conveniently located and - in my opinion - better than the train lounge.
I might also use it as a welcome lounge after a long flight to freshen up and take a shower.

Design:
Yes, it’s the bold (and old) design of the former AA Admirals Club that closed in 2011.
I think with little effort the lounge could be upgraded - and retro fans would be thrilled. Take the champagne bottles out of the display case and put in airline memorabilia instead. Remove the strange curtain in the Buffet area. Put photography’s with airplanes (of the 80s) and oöd photos of frankfurt airport on the wall. Maybe some additional retro lamps on the ceiling. That could be really nice. The Retro TWA Hotel at JFK or the Pan Am Lounge in Berlin are also very well received.

If your in the Frankfurt airport this is the place to be. From the unlimited food and spirits to friendly staff. There's not a question about it.

Don't go through security though because I made that mistake a few times. Just drop off your checked luggage if you have any and go between the B and C area and it will be upstairs you can't miss it. Look for the covid testing area and boom its as soon as you go up the escalators.

You got to have your Priority pass with boarding pass for entry so if you don't have that with credit cards like Amex you get a free membership so there ya go. They have a wide selection of spirits but not the biggest when it comes to food. You will see some frankfurters (similar to hot dogs) with some cold cuts and bread.
