The location was convenient. My husband stayed here prior to my arrival, then we stayed there again before returning to the States. My husband and I really enjoyed the friendly service at the lobby bar. Pretty cocktails, and we recommend the Cesar salad!
But it was a little confusing to find because Sheraton and Marriott share the property. The garage was also closed due to repairs or construction (I can't remember exactly) and no one around to help assist people to offload from the car to the lobby. I had to go up one level to reception and hijack a luggage cart. There was a gentleman standing in front of reception. I don't know what his roll with the hotel was. I assumed he was a porter or bellhop. but he never offered to help when I asked about using the luggage cart. So I took the cart and returned to the garage where my husband (and a couple other cars) blocked the parking gate to offload luggage. My husband returned our rental car because there was no where for him to park, while I moved 3 large suitcases, 2 carry on bags, shopping bags, and coats (for travel) alone to lobby reception. That's a lot for one person.
Had I been alone with a car, I have no idea what I would have done.
While we loaded the luggage cart. I noticed another couple arrive with a toddler and infant. They had luggage, car seats, diaper bags etc. And there was no one else to help them. I offered to let them put some things on our cart and we all somehow made it to the lobby. If they were going to close off parking, they should really have people available to help guests.
The rooms were nothing special but completely acceptable. The AC sounded like it was running, but I could not feel any cool air coming out of the vents. The different corridors were a bit confusing.
I would stay here again if I had to, but I might try the Marriott to compare.
