We didn't want to give a bad review. The overall culinary experience was yummy. People with allergies don't go.
In general, good food. However, we had a highly allergic person in our party who asked specifically for three ingredients only (and paid full price for it without a problem). The server was lovely through broken English and tried to accommodate us as much as she could. The cook made the "dish" two times, without attention the first time to the exact ingredients (he made it with extras that could kill our friend). Through our insistence in no spices, or anything extra or added, he remade the dish, only for us to see the chicken had clearly been marinated beforehand. At first, he refused to give us the money due to wasted chicken, though we were very insistent and precise from the very beginning (we chose this place just for our friend, and asked before hand if only the asked for ingredients would be okay. The answer was yes). However, afterwards he gave us the money back.
Something else that I wouldn't normally mention is we also asked to remove mushrooms from one of the burgers, which was then brought to us with them. We only noticed mid burger. We aren't allergic but the fact that people ask for something to be removed isn't based on pure whim. People ask for ingredients removed because they have an allergy. It is clear this cook can only make the food he is used to making and, while good, the food asked for should be delivered.
