Last day in Germany and we wanted to eat the famous German Pig Knuckle before heading out. Passed by this charming place and decided to go in. The pig knuckle was super. The meat fell off easily and the rind was crispy with the delicious fat still clinging on, perfect. The Veal Schnitzel was also great and authentic. Service was superb and efficient.

It was my last (and only day) in Frankfurt and wanted to grab a good lunch before heading to the airport. Saw pretty good reviews of this place and went to experience it myself.
We were the only customer at the time as it was pretty early for lunch.
Staff was friendly and professional, speaks very fluent English, and the menu comes in English as well. So pretty good reasons friends from overseas should try this place.
Order the veal meatball and boiled pork chop. Very big portion when compared to what we usually eats in Asia but I love it! The meal was wholesome and delicious. And we ordered the winter season only beer which goes very well with our food.
Overall it was a great experience with the traditional interior design, and you can find traditional German food in here.
Absolutely recommending this place to everyone.

Came here due to the good reviews. Did not disappoint! Servings were HUGE! The pig trotter was amazing - best I've ever tasted. We also got the schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce - it got a bit heavy near the end but good nonetheless. Would recommend.

Soooooo good. Great portions for price and not overly touristy. We sat outside on the patio and had many conversations with other patrons and had a great experience. Beggars were discouraged by servers in a dignified and humane manner. Food was very tasty and served in a timely manner. Definitely worth a visit if you want to eat to experience such food fare.

This place is a hidden gem we came back twice in two days we were in Frankfurt! We got the sausages and potatoes, Schnitzel with Mushroom Cream sauce and the pork knuckle. Would recommend the schnitzel and the pork knuckle - had the schnitzel twice and I think I’ll miss it when I get back – the servings are huge and we couldn’t finish the pork knuckle but it’s still worth ordering to try! Pair it with apfelwein to cut the grease ☺️.

We visited this restaurant in early November of 2021. Due to covid-19 restrictions, and vaccine requirements, we were the only ones in the restaurant. The place was very beautiful and typical beautiful German architecture and interior. The two ladies that were there were super friendly, welcoming and attentive! The service was super awesome and fast, and the food was great! Next time we are here, we'll definitely be revisiting this place! Tip them well and they'll not only be grateful but they'll take take good care of you! We did and it was well worth it!

As a first timer in Germany, i only had a few hours to explore the culinary wonders of frankfurt. I am so glad I found this place, the food was so delicious, never tasted anything like it before. Very unique in a good way. The service was awesome, they were so kind to us. I will forever remember this place.
