Hotel Herzog

The family room is a very spacious and clean, 2 bedroom room on the ground floor, across a nice, small courtyard, in the back of the hotel (away from street noise). It was 30+ degrees outside but the room was quite cool (no AC), and they gave us a fan as well which really helped. Great location. On the down side the shower was horrible as it was impossible to find the right temperature. And when you use the sink, the water spills all over the floor. We also could have really used a mini fridge. Staff was super nice.

Spacious rooms in a good location at a reasonable price. Shower is not good because our can only be set to way to hot or to cold. Otherwise fine.

We meet a very nice grandma. She showed us many about the city. We had wonderful time in Düsseldorf.

The location of this hotel was perfect — only a twenty minute walk from the city center. Plus, there was conveniently located, reasonably priced parking located in close proximity to the hotel. However, while the beds were clean, the rooms were clearly dated, with old stains engrained deep in the carpet and walls.

The staff was nice and accommodating. No parking but there are a lot of nearby parking places for about 4Euros or so. The room had decent size. But the fridge, I think did not work and the shower doors get stuck when you try to close them. Shower is very sensitive, so be careful when you change the temp or it'll be either Winterfell or Mordor. Overall, it was a decent hotel for an overnight stay or rest stop.

It is in a convenient location, moderate price, but it is also on a busy street. Rooms located on the inside court are quiet though but without a view. The staff is friendly and helpful.
