was warmly welcomed onto the premises by the owner. we arrived really late due to some issues but the owner was very understanding and helpful. the room was great! there was A/C, clean sheets and toilets too.

breakfast was delicious with a wide spread of dishes to try. do give it a try!

enjoyed the accessibility to the train station, super easy to find the hotel.

The hotel is too expensive for what it offers. The good thing is the location to the central train station. But the hotel itself has a wierd feel. The towels provided were worn out. The carpet was not clean and had spots. There were cobwebs in the room and hotel lobby. The lift was very confusing. Receptionist was friendly though and the checkin-checkout process was smooth.

Great location near the Bahnhof and only 15 minutes walk to the old city center

Nice family-run hotel in an old home near the train station in Dresden. The rooms are of varying size and shape, and can accommodate a number of traveler requests. The breakfast was very tasty, with a nice assortment of buffet items available. A nice friendly place to stay, slightly away from the tourist sights in Dresden.

Although we made the reservation for family with child under 1 year, they give us room in the 1st floor directly above the smoking terrace. In 35°C without air conditioning we got a choice if we bake our baby or poison with cigarette smoke. The asian owner I asked for help smoked later himselfs with his big family under the windows.
The restaurant was closed without an advance notice. Not much ready for bicycle storage, at least they managed somehow.
Otherwise very nice old house with big parking and private terrace.

Great location, spacious rooms, everything worked; luxury breakfast. A piece of history too, in the way it survived the war and GDR expropriation.
The owner is another matter: intransigent, unsympathetic and quite unable to empathise. There was 24 hours without hot water (maintenance apparently) of which we weren't warned until after we'd checked in; only grudgingly did Herr Kipping offer a (minimal) price reduction, and that only after a long altercation in which he became positively belligerent. Basil Fawlty without the humour. Such a shame since a more sensitive handling of the problem would have kept us happy. As it was, we fumed. In every other respect, splendid. Just don't get on the wrong side of the boss (which is easily done)
