ATLANTIC Hotel Universum is very good. The room was big, with a nice view on the garden. The buffet at breakfast is rich and various, with fresh food. The bar is open in the evening. It is very easy to reach it from the central station.

Surprisingly large room, nice big windows, a desk, very comfy bath, hot shower with good flow strength, and most importantly a comfortable bed.

The breakfast was quite nice but I was a bit surprised to find out on the bill that the coffee was not included in the breakfast and charged for separately especially considering the price of the breakfast

They never returned the 50 euros the reception girl charged upon check-in on our cards, not only for me, but also for my 2 co-travellers...They blamed their local financial intermediate company for this issue, without ever tried to solve it.
If you are not from Germany and you cannot go back to them to claim your rights, don't expect your money back. 150 euros pure stealing...

This hotel is a 4 stars hotel, but it is possible to have rooms without air-conditioning, as I had. I haven't been informed when I booked my room for this situation. The hotel is situated near small Lake and channels of water and there are mosquitoes and insects, so if you want to sleep with open window you will have "company" during the night.
There is a nice parking, nice restaurant with delicious dishes, the breakfast is really good, plenty of choices. The staff is polite, but also need to practice their English.

Located directly next to Universum - this hotel is simple and offers great service. The breakfast buffet was quite good. The rooms are clean and simple which is great for those seeking a simple stay. Free drinks and vouchers in lieu of cleaning were a nice addition for this hotel. The cocktails at the bar are also very reasonably priced even for more premium liquors like Monkey47 gin.
