The whole experience was an absolute delight! Definitely a gem of Berlin. The food was really tasty. We went there with the idea of trying typical German food and it didn’t let us down. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, loved the lightning and decoration. The service was attentive and with a good serving pace. We left the restaurant with a good memory of Berlin. 100% recommended.

We landed here to try german cuisine and had a good time. We liked our first started schweinfilet with garlic cream with beer. The rest of the orders were very new to our Indian palate, hence it would be unwise to judge them. The best part was the hospitality of the owners ( the couple who runs the place) . As we are new here and don't understand german very well, the lady took care to explain the menu and asked several times if anything was needed.

Absolutely perfect “humpday” celebration! ???? The atmosphere has been very relaxing and Anja made sure that we have everything we need whenever we need it. ???????? It was really refreshing to experience a different German restaurant than simply Schnitzel and Haxe (which I do love to but… ????) but some other classics from all over Germany. The dish that lured us in was their “Bass-Kaus” (u003d Labskaus) but everything else was absolutley delicious as well. Our favorite appetizer was the Matjes con salsa. ???? Between the two mains - “Wildbolognese” u0026 “Bass-Kaus” - the Bass-Kaus won the competition. ???? Last but not least, the “Apfelküchle” (apple pie) took us by surprise. It looked like a Schnitzel, covered in cinnamon and simply fantastic! ???? The cook himself had a chat with us about this delicious dish. Thank you Bernd! ???????? We had amazing dinner and you guys definitely went onto my “favorite German restaurants” list for recommendations whenever people ask. ????????????

A real gem! Friendly service, delicious food and a good range of beer. The asparagus and schinken was really delicious, and the cheese spatzle brought back great childhood memories. It was good value and I’d definitely be back straight away if I was a local!

Really lovely restaurant owned by lovely and caring people.
Here you can find a big beer selection and some amazing German dishes in new and more exciting versions.
The owner was so welcoming and gentle, a truly positive experience, I would for sure come back!

We have been coming to Bass for about 18 months and every time the food is spectacular, as is the service and atmosphere.

Their seasonal menu and a great attention to detail has always impressed us whether we are there for a light snack, a three course meal or even a take away Christmas goose.

Dog friendly ????
