Considering that it's the same price as the world-class picture gallery next door, this museum is not good value for money. It has some world-class exhibits, but is not in the same league as the Gemäldegalerie. It's a bit like a tiny version of the Vu0026A Museum in London, with costume, scientific instruments, medieval metalwork, etc. etc.

Great Museum with big variety of different exhibitions and friendly staff. Went there to see the “How to Dior” exhibition and was very pleased by the detailed and nicely put together display. Also the inclusion of students work was very impressive.

Interesting enough gallery to keep you busy for a hour I really enjoyed the clothes the Dior section was excellent as was the clothes from 1900 to 1945 It’s definitely worth a stop

Great museum. It was interesting to see how the design of things changed. The exhibits are very well presented.

I liked that they added a touch of modernity to "antiquity" (hint: look for stickers in the windows) ????

A nice museum with some interesting collections. It had some student exhibits that were very interesting. I like the vintage modernist building. I do wish it had a bit more Art Nouveau/Art Decco in its collection. . Worth a visit

A wide overview of industry and craft as seen from the lens of design and arts. Rather Eurocentric, but in that scope well representative.
The venue is architecturally interesting and the various stairways lead to unexpected sights. Well equipped with lifts for the less mobile, and the staff is extremely helpful.

Beautiful pieces. The art nouveau, especially the fancy desk, and the fashion through the ages are worthwhile. Get a chair at the reception to watch the 20 minutes video showing all the secret drawers of the desk.
