Beautiful Museum and thoughtfully curated. Was able to experience one of the largest gothic art collections in the world and right after see 2020s 100 best poster designs from Eastern Europe.

This is an exhibition space. Usually there are events happening at the place. In the summer or special events there is an open bar u0026 restaurant (biergarten) in the area which is very nice. In the night of museums this place is free to visit with your Der Nacht der museen tickets.

A huuuge compilation of different museums and collections.
We visited the "Gemäldesammlung", "Kupferstichkabinett" and "Kulturbibliothek".

Very interesting collections of (most) contemporary to fewest) Renaissance.
Highly recommended.

Gemaldgallerie - excellent collection. As always. Nice exhibition of medieval art.

Lot‘s of museums and outstanding exhibitions. Perhaps one of the best museum centers worldwide.

Architecturally the museum complex is nothing special, and it is a bit remote from places to get lunch etc., within only an over-priced cafe on site.
