I was really looking forward to experiencing this restaurant and while I feel like they are trying it we can’t ignore that it does have a Michelin star and I don’t feel that it’s currently at the level it needs to be.

The staff training and attention to detail is simply not there.

The food, while I enjoyed it, was very much overpriced and there are in my opinion better Thai options in Berlin right now in a lower price range.

I do however very much appreciate their ethos, and that they source local, sustainable and ethical ingredients.

I will try it again in a year or so when they have hopefully worked out their teething problems.

We had a wonderful experience, every single dish was a hit (the duck was very spicy but flavourful).

The staff was attentive and friendly, we got offered more drinks once they saw us sweating from the duck.

Overall, a perfect dinner and we could not ask for more

Taking the authentic Thai cuisine to another level! The food was really amazing starting with very delicious starters, then very traditional yet very fine mains and all was wrapped up by a very light and delicate dessert. The dining experience is actually unique, nothing fancy but cozy and comfortable which is not known about star restaurant. Family style is recommended so you can try the entire menu which is also a plus. Lastly, the staff were really welcoming and friendly. All in all, it is worth the visit and for sure we will be coming again.

Fabulous Michelin Star rated Thai dining experience. Extraordinary food. Its a tasting menu. No vegan/vegetarian options as often fish is a seasoning or garnish. Go for the wine pairings. I know a great deal aboot wine but I learnt loads and the food and wine together were transformative

Highly recommend! Seasonal local Berlin / Brandenburg produce used to created modern Thai dishes - outstanding. Interesting ingredients, stand out dishes and highly memorable flavours leaves for a wonderful evening of delicious food. Do the wine pairing, you won’t regret it. Outstanding service - world class! Attention to detail is unbeatable. We’ll be back, excited to explore more seasonal occasions - I can see Kindee becoming a go to for excellent eating and drinking!

How on earth did Kin Dee get a Michelin Star is a mystery. Utter awful experience.

We arrived on time to the restaurant and were greeted with a smile to then being taken to a table next to the kitchen / service area at the very back (we had reserved a table 3 weeks in advance), which had not been prepared and "missing" a chair. Turned out it was not for us, so lead back to the main front room, and given a very nice corner table. Next to us was a larger party of seven or so guests (more on that later).

Got the menus and placed orders for a couple of aperitifs as well as adding tonights special - the scallop as an extra to the taster / fixed menu - along side wine paring and water. All was done in flawless English.

Received the drinks relatively quickly, but from here on it went downhill fast! After we had finished our drinks (20 min after we sat down) we where given a small bowl of nuts and half a pickled radish each. I believe this clearly was supposed to accompany the drinks but came well after we were done with the aperitifs.

The fixed menu consisted of three small starters where we received the first (and only one - see photo) after an additional 25 min waiting. Tasted good, and set expectations for the rest of the evening. After that nothing happened. I asked our waitress if we could expect the other starters after having waiting for 20 min and was told it was om it's way (she didn't even stop to and answer me but answered as she was running off). After 5-10 min still nothing happened.

Got up and walked over to the kitchen/service area (to keep other guests out of the "compliant") then all of a sudden no one understood English. The female that had been all smiles and happy earlier, just pointed me to the male waiter who didn't even bother to stay still, look me in the eye and answer me. I said we were leaving as no one could give us any answers to why nothing was happening and even lied about it was on it's way as it clearly wasn't. I offered to pay for the drinks and 2 bottles of water we had consumed. We were told we didn't have to pay and we left.

An utter awful experience and this was our 3rd (of 3) Michelin Star Restaurant booked for our Berlin trip (the two others were top notch) over our four day visit.

We noticed that the table next to us, as mentioned before, were served their 7 main courses (7 pax) over 20 min, and not all in one go. Alarm bells started already there and then.

Stay clear...Again, this is not a Michelin Star worthy restaurant.
