It's an iconical place for all Berliners. Great place to have a drink, something to eat a chill out in the beautiful Grunewald forrest.

The main building is closed for some renovations and they serve food in a smaller building on the side. There's also a grill outside which serves sausages and fries. There's a playground directly on premises which is convenient for families with kids. Toilets are in a separate building, very clean. I was a bit confused with the ordering system, it seemed that one can't get all the drinks from the menu outside.

Wow!!! This place is truly a hidden champion. The menu is a blast and most delicious. The location is perfect for any occasion…????

Made a booking online. When we arrived, the person didn't say hello or anything, just said "didn't you receive our cancellation? There was a system error", while at the same time there was a free table just there. Why the whole fuss, we don't know.
Took 62 minutes for the food to arrive.
The atmosphere was very quiet, almost eerie.

We didn't eat at the restaurant but in the Biergarten outside. I have to say that the food was quite good. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time to get it (more than 30 minutes) and it is not possibile to pay with card, so if you don't have cash with you it is a problem
