A little bit out of the normal path, but they do have a bus station near by which is helpful. This is a fairly short museum to visit. It took about one hour to go through. The museum is basic, but shows several interesting parts of life after the war. The plane was interesting to visit and they show information about the airlift.

Great museum —especially it being free! Although I had bits and pieces of the history down, the museum manages to really formulate the history of the last 80 years of the city into one cohesive story that’s straightforward to understand and share. I especially like that there are so many original items! The outpost building and plane are amazing!

It's a great place to know the things that got left from the war time, how the planning was, what happened during and after the allieds arrived. There's can good from that time, airplane parts, official uniforms, news paper articles, vehicles and even a wedding dress Made out of courtings from an apartament in that time. And it's free! Totally not crowded, There's a cafe and plenty to see.
It was a really instructional experience, first time in this kind of museums and it was so easy to walk through.

Totally worth it! ????

There are old cars, plane and train from world war 2. Also uniform of the soldiers and some details related war. Museum is free. It is a bit outside of Berlin. If you have your own car better to visit.

A place to visit for WWII history buffs. This is a rather small museum. Outside there is an actual British transport plane from the Berlin airlift, an East German guard tower that was moved to the museum plus the last actuall Checkpoint Charlie station.

Short and sweet. Interesting memorabilia of a not so distant past, including the original facade from the famous Checkpoint Charlie.
