Idyllic and well-kept place for a short stay. A board with brief information about the statue. Excellent!

A very well kept and beautiful monument, much larger then you think. It's simple but in it lies the beauty of the structure.

This monument stands in tribute to not one, but three great German composers. The monument is a three sided column, each side showing a half relief sculpture of Beethoven, Haydn and Mozart. The column is topped with a golden sculpture of three infants holding aloft a laurel wreath.

It's really nice statue for classical composer. It's located in the middle of the big Tierpark, so peacefull and beautiful with big pool and park in front of the statue. You can enjoy nature over there.

Beethoven-Haydn-Mozart Denkmal is a monument to the three classical composers situated just south of the Venusbassin (Venus Pool) also referred to as Goldfischteich in Tiergarten. This monument was commissioned by Kaiser Wilhelm II and created by Rudolf Siemering and was inaugurated in 1904.
It is a ten meters in height and made of Greek and Tirolean marble. The monument's shape is generally round, including three evenly spaced niches where you find upper body figures of Beethoven, Haydn and Mozart. Gilded can be found above and between the composers as well as atop the monument to provide a bit of colour and decor to the monument.
Sadly, this monument suffered considerable damage during WWII and wasn't fully restored until 2007. After two years of restoration works, the Beethoven-Haydn-Mozart Denkmal was re-erected that year, providing the revitalised monument that can be seen today.
Note: There is a helpful information board near the monument if you are interested in reading up on the history of the Beethoven-Haydn-Mozart Denkmal.
