Great castle. The drive in is magnificent. The bridge to see the castle from upfront is being renovated so we didn’t get to see that view. But still amazing.

What a castle.
Best castle in the world in my opinion.
Must visit place if you are in munich.
Just 2 hour train ride from munich. Easy for day tour.

Beautiful place with unique castle and Nature around is very beautiful. View of the iconic castle from the bridge and mountain closed. And there are several lakes around the area, try to visit them, they are 100% worth it! ????

Beautiful view and amazing setting. I went during winter so it was quite windy which made it very memorable. (Visited in December 2013)

You end up here is you walked up the main road. It has quite a nice view of the castle from the front. It also has information board around as well as seating. There are also shops nearby for food or souviners.

Super beautiful hike. I went early in the morning and I was the only one on the trail! Highly recommend
