The room was nice enough nothing too special. Wifi is iffy not that we're there for the wifi but forget about a good signal. The cleaning service was great. The complimentary breakfast and coffee were good. Service at the restaurant was good during the times we had breakfast or stopped later for coffee. The hour to which they serve supper is not exactly what is posted. We stayed at the hotel 2 nights and tried both nights to pick up supper. Once at 5:45 and at 5:15 and were told they won't serve at these times even though they're open until 6. The businesses around the castles are solely running based on the castles schedules, so just keep that in mind when figuring out supper. They aren't exactly fond of working to feed/serve customers until they close at 6 - MAYBE 5 (we aren't exactly sure being there at 5 will get you served, since we didn't figure that out and it's only until 5 in the other seasons so maybe be there before 4.). Glad we had a rental car to venture out to get dinner so that was bonus.

This place has horrible service. We were seated outside. Given a menu. There were others havin meal there. In 15 minutes we were told that they will not service outside anymore. Just stopped and said basically that we can do whatever. Such a disgrace after a nice visit to the castle.

Great prices! Much lower than expected for the only restaurant so close to Neuschwanstein Castle. I had this excellent sausage with potato, and of course, German wheat beer (equally delicious!)

Rude staff, no follow up on how we are , no top off on drinks, food was bland. Even the manager had no idea what was going on with the food or tables. We weren't rude when we arrived, when we left or anything in between just was looked down on when we started to speak English. Do not recommend at all!!

Had the goulash soup, excellent. I was impressed by the fact that this is a very touristy area and yet the pricing is reasonable considering that you’re up on the side of a mountain.

Most racist restaurant. I waited for 10mins for a waiter to come and ask what I want. They just walked past me and ignored. Germans who came after me were welcomed and they ran to them immediately. Horrible people.

Straight below the castle. Good food, and our service was excellent, but the main waitress has shown to much bavarian charme to our neighbor table ;)
