Clearly one of the worst service experiences, I have ever witnessed in a cafe. There was no menu and orders - despite including only drinks took extraordinarily long.

It fully deserves the rating it has on here.

The worst service I've had in my life. This coming from someone who worked as a waiter himself, and who understands the difficulties of the job. We were a group of hungarians mixed with a few other nationalities, and our waiter, a senior, hoary hungarian man as well, must have heard us speaking the language as he continuously responded in hungarian to questions asked in german. As the table had only one menu on it, and being a bigger group we kindly asked if we could get more menus (in german). We were told: "There is only one menu per table!" (in hungarian), after a few moments, the waiter grebbed a second menu from another table and practically threw it on ours without saying anything. This was just the beginning. After we ordered a main dish + a desert each. The desserts for half the table were brought out before the mains, as they were 'ready first'. Then came some main dishes for a few people, than after 15 minutes, the rest of desserts and what was left of the mains. When one of us asked if she could take her glass off juice 5 steps out of the terrace to sit by the lake-side, she was very rudely told 'NO!'. The waiter was very condescending throughout our interaction, and when we asked for the check and wanted to pay, he said word for word: "You can just leave my tip on the table". I think this was the first time in my life I didn't leave a tip, but the guy single-handedly managed to ruin the pleasant experience of visiting the wonderful castle of Neuschwanstein, and leave us with a bitter taste at the end of our day.
Conclusion: The food is ok, but far too expensive for what you get. The service: worse than horrible!

If I could rate it 0 I would! 8€ for a bottle of water, cordon bleu that comes with three leaves of lettuce that they call " salad" around here. Nice view but you would so ripped off that you would forget about the view. I have no issues paying more, but the value of what you get is ridiculous. Would never recommend it, take your money and go to McDonalds

We found the restaurant is very good. A young lady served us with enthusiastic. We ordered 2 main dishes, one soup, one coffee, a glass of wine and one desert. All of them are very good especially the soup. The price is reasonable. We didn't meet the old waiter so no idea about the other old waiter's attitude. All the staffs we met were very nice. A very good restaurant in that region.

Incredible, I never been received like this..... after waiting around 20min for the waiter just to take our order. I've got a really nice message from him "yes you can leave, I don't care". Where is the respect the customer ?
Really a nice place but a behavior which can not be the one when we welcome customer. Shame on your waiter !!!

Food was good.
When we were about to finish our lunch, I was reading Alex Mil's review - 31 Euros, etc. We asked the (about 50 years old) waiter to check and he said it was 61 Euros. My friend paid with credit card. And I told him about the 31-Euro review. He asked the waiter to show the bill. The bill included two coffee we didn't order. The waiter mummered something about table number and hurriedly returned the coffee price in cash.
He must be the same waiter in Alex's review. It was funny. And pathetic.

We visited the Café, with its magnificent view, the second weekend it was open. Sure it was a little bit crowded and the stuff was super busy but very friendly as well!
We had a great pasta dish and the burger was also very delicious.
