Authentic Brazilian Bar and Restaurant. Excellent food and drinks. Great choice. Specialty: here you can learn about and enjoy the versatility of Cachaça, from tasty Caipirinha variations to cocktails based on it. Highly recommended!

Tl;dr: real Brazilian atmosphere, best caipirinhas

I think it'd pretty tough for someone else to replicate my experience here, but alas I must review what I have lived.
Legitimately felt like I was back in Brazil for a while here with Waldemar, Cardoso and the great people I met in loco.
Ver o peso is a small, cozy bar where you'll find the best caipirinhas around and other amazing drinks (like the açaí with cachaça) and some other Brazilian stuff like pão de queijo, coxinha, cocada and feijoada.
The caipirinhas are legit, if a bit pricy (still worth it). Everything seems made iwth love, and the cook (Cardoso) will be more than glad to chat about it with you.
Portions are very generous, and I didn't feel like the prices were unfair.
What makes the place amazing, though, is the atmosphere. Chatting with other Brazilian guests and with Waldemar and Cardoso, and generally having a great time!
I'll be coming back many, many times!

Food and drinks are pretty decent, but the waiting time/service quality was absolutely unreal, I’ve never seen that before. In 2:30 hours I had only one drink. Everything was delayed and the waiter messed up all orders.
As said, drinks and food were decent but absolutely not worth it going there!

Chef denied to make a pastel de queijo at the entry bar. Chef was too much of a busy person. Then we ordered some drinks, which took so long that we had to give up. Chef was (again) too much of a busy person. Bad experience. Surely not a welcoming Brazilian restaurant. Never again.

Worst service I ever experienced in my life. It took one hour 40 minutes to get the first drink. The place was empty. And the owner was very unfriendly. Working in the gastronomy industry usually never complain about service, but this was another level.

First the good things: really nice caipirinha, like in Brazil. Good food like the aipim and coxinha.
Now the bad things: the waiting time.
Food took one hour to arrive, drink took even 1,5 hours to arrive due to the fact that the barman was also cooking in the kitchen.
Could be a really nice Brazilian bar if they have a dedicated chef

Unfortunaly a Brazilian bar with a Brazilian owner... Who doesnt apreciate brazilian costumers. What can I say?

I Just wish the best for the place, but maybe, instead of selling brazilian food, they should try something else, whereas brazilian people are not so welcome. Not cool.
