In mid January 2021 I had a shoulder injury after falling down some stairs while being abroad. I quickly did an MRI locally and I sent it via email, asking for help to different orthopedics surgeons in Munich to figure out how to best handle the ruptured tendon I had. Even though I was not a registered patient at the time, Professor Lill answered back with the first rough MRI interpretation within 36h and helped me make the right decision on how to handle my situation. Immediately when I was back in Munich he welcomed me the first day when I was out of quarantine and gave me more details about the surgery - in English. By 3rd week of February, Professor Lill operated my shoulder with state-of-the-art methods and tools for tendon reatachment. He was transparent, clear in his statements, highly professional and totally in control of the process of repairing my shoulder at all time. The staff at the center were extremely well organized, very well communicating in English, anticipating all possible logistical aspects ahead of time. The physio therapy done at the center with Mr. Daniel Pasler at this center was also exceptionally effective. By week 6 the tendon attachment was looking great on the scope and by week 10 there were little signs of missing mobility. By early May, there were only very rare daily situations left where I had any inconvenience from the operated shoulder. I can hardly immagine a better medical support available anywhere on the planet at this time for someone in my condition then the one I got at OrthoCenter from Professor Lill and his very professional team.
