Very disappointed by the service. We arrived at the restaurant without a reservation, so we kindly asked if it was possible to get a table for 2. The headwaiter gave us a very weird look; seemed to hesitate as if yes or not he should give us a table. After a moment, ( 5 minutes ), he said ok ( he did not seem happy about it! ) : we went to the table. The waitress barely spoke english ( even if it’s not my native language, I expect the waiters at a 1 michelin star restaurant to be able to express themselves in english ...), so it led to tiny misunderstandings. I must confess : the food was really, really good. Hence the Michelin star. The service hewever was rude, weird, not fit for a restaurant like this. I won’t go back.

(Translated by Google) Restaurant gourmet - and that says it all). The menu is small, but all the dishes with their twist are tasty, some combinations of products may seem strange at first glance - for example, lobster and grated carrots). But that distinguishes the high cuisine from the traditional - to experiment with ordinary products and seek new tastes. All dishes are good in their own way - but desserts are beyond praise. The restaurant is small, the atmosphere is calm - nothing should distract from enjoying the food. For lovers of restaurants with Michelin stars - I recommend. The service is also at a high level, thank you all for a wonderful gastronomic experience.

(Translated by Google) There were 6 of us and each ordered a 4-course menu for € 94. No wine accompaniment, with truffles and coffee for a total of 760 €. Length of stay 3.5 hours.

Very nice reception from the service staff and the restaurant manager. The ambiance was good, not too big with about 10 two tables on the right side of the restaurant.

All in all, it was an experience to dine in a starred restaurant, which, as Mr. Schuhbeck himself says, takes place in a somewhat more comfortable atmosphere than usual (for a starred restaurant).

As an amuse gueule there was a cold chestnut soup with truffle and with the coffee there were very tasty chocolate pralines.

Starter: Goose liver from Alsace (4 *), Nice salad (5 *) - Intermediate course: Breton lobster (3 *), truffled pasta course (5 *) - Main course: Saddle of venison (5 *), roasted entrecôte (4 *) - Dessert: Baked apple star (5 *), lemon and nut slices (4 *), rock garden (5 *).

I recommend: Nice salad, truffled pasta course, saddle of venison / entrecote and, as a dessert, baked apple star.

The coffee wasn't the best, but not too important.

(Translated by Google) We were in Schuhbeck's Fine Dining last week.
Every course was a highlight. Incredible what the chefs conjure up here. The wine accompaniment was perfectly matched to the food. We can really recommend everyone to eat here.

Kudos to Mr. Schuhbeck, Mr. Kriegs and the cooking team.
