I just experienced the absolute worst customer service of my life, quite frankly it made me feel reluctant to give it 1* on Google.
Recently purchased a Panerai at Weinstraße's branch (last week). They do not have any Vacheron Constantin collection, I decided to have a visit and check for the Fifty Six collection. Personally I love dealing with people and buy my watches when I see them in the flesh. Since VC does not have a boutique in Munich but I have been told 1 month back order for the watches I need.
I was greeted politely by the host at the door and I was sat down that was when the nightmare happened, the salesman was a male, grey hair middle aged. I wanted to have a general conversation about the collection, as I love speaking about watches with people and I believe it should be the same if they work there. Instead I was treated with impatient and rude one sentence answers.
'WE DONT HAVE IT'
When I asked ok yeah sure (replied in a polite manner), how long would it take to order as I am willing to put down a deposit.
'1 month, 1 year, 2 years, I DONT KNOW. The tone of voice and the level of how he couldn't be bother is beyond me. Replied with the such rude and bad attitude, I had to get up from my chair (there is no way I would want to tolerate this) and walked out of the shop. He did not to seem to care of his bad customer service as I am sure there are so many sales to be made since the watch supplies are extremely low right now.
I will escalate this to whoever necessary, and will continue to shop at the Weinstraße instead.
As of the 2 pieces of Vacheron Constantin, I will stick with the VC E-Boutique instead, as I do not have to face such treatment ever again.
