For those who want to try the German experience this should be on your list of restaurants to dine at while in Munich.

They have a large selection of local taps and you can go with either a half or full litre of beer, as they say, when in Germany you go full litre. Well they don’t actually say that but that’s what the locals think.

The pretzels were great appetizer, the right amount of salt, not to hard and just soft enough which makes them a must add on. The pork knuckle dish was impressive enough and when you deconstruct it, it was moist and skin the perfect crunch. Although the sauce was a tad salty, it was a definite overlook and did not ruin the overall dish itself.

To close out the meal, the strudel was a nice finish and I recommend the vanilla ice cream with it.

Overall experience and atmosphere was great, the hostess was delightful and staff were welcoming.

Very convenient location right across the Munich Central Station, just beside Aloft Hotel. Cozy interiors and friendly staff. Generally food is OK. Had the pork knuckle -- its tasty and the skin is crispy!

Our first visit to Munich and our first taste of Bavarian food. Roast pork like we've never tasted with crackling to die for. The staff were fabulous, really friendly and helpful. The restaurant is nearly opposite the main station yet competitively priced. We finished off with apple strudel which didn't disappoint. We were on a one night visit so were unable to go back. However I would always put this on my visit list when back in Munich.

Nice interior and decoration, convenient location, very friendly staff and fast service. The food was fresh but just OK overall. Prices are quite high, feels somehow like a touristy place. They also offer some Italian dishes and burgers, strange for a restaurant that calls itself Bavarian.

Best German and Bavarian meal we had while in Munich. Service was fast and efficient and the food was amazing. I had the bratwurst skillet and it was fabulous. Also, location could not be better next to the central train station. Highly recommend!

Food was really good, staff was friendly, and location is conveniently across from the München Hauptbahnhof. Food took quite a while to come out, but otherwise a fantastic place to enjoy delicious Bavarian cuisine!

Awesome place for a German and of course Munich experience. The staff is very friendly and they serve all your favorite German food and beers. You dine at long tables and the place itself is like a modern version of the traditional beer houses in Germany. If you want to enjoy your food and at same time be able to talk to each other (the classic ones have loud music), I would recommend this place over the traditional ones. Another plus is that also serve great Napolitan Italian food from the place next to it, great addition!
Before we went there, I read some reviews on long waiting lines. During our stay there was a constant (small) line of people waiting for a table, even though it was not that busy in the restaurant. Maybe the staff chose to keep it more compact (short of staff for example) and not to open all areas of the restaurant. All in all I would definitely recommend going here, it was a 10/10 experience for us!
