Walking around Odeonsplatz on a DE bank holiday, we were looking for a cosy place to have a glass of wine and just by chance stumbled across Lump, Stein und Küchenmeister in an alley I've never walked by before.
The Wintergarten looked very welcoming but we wanted to rather sit inside and and were greeted very nicely upon entering the inside area and told that there's a "living room" area down the hall. And indeed, at the end of the hallway we found this quite empty but very lovely room and sat in a corner on a leather bench with fluffy pillows and listened to nice music in the background.
The service was very fast and within minutes we got the menu, decided on two different white wines (both got a second glass as the wine really was superb) and we even ordered a third Flammkuchen for the two of us (think very thin crust and delicious toppings - yummy).
Maybe not the cheapest place but for sure, I will come back as this wine bar could become my new fav place to go: not very touristy despite being located in the heart of Munich, great staff and interior inside and outside the location and the food/wines are of very good quality and just wonderful.
