Walking around Odeonsplatz on a DE bank holiday, we were looking for a cosy place to have a glass of wine and just by chance stumbled across Lump, Stein und Küchenmeister in an alley I've never walked by before.

The Wintergarten looked very welcoming but we wanted to rather sit inside and and were greeted very nicely upon entering the inside area and told that there's a "living room" area down the hall. And indeed, at the end of the hallway we found this quite empty but very lovely room and sat in a corner on a leather bench with fluffy pillows and listened to nice music in the background.

The service was very fast and within minutes we got the menu, decided on two different white wines (both got a second glass as the wine really was superb) and we even ordered a third Flammkuchen for the two of us (think very thin crust and delicious toppings - yummy).

Maybe not the cheapest place but for sure, I will come back as this wine bar could become my new fav place to go: not very touristy despite being located in the heart of Munich, great staff and interior inside and outside the location and the food/wines are of very good quality and just wonderful.

Fantastic place for a glass of wine in the heart of the city. During the summer the wine garden is open where food and an extensive list of wines as well other beverages are on offer. Top selection of wine at fair prices. Definitely a top choice to relax and while away a few hours

As far as I know, The variety of food was not much, but it was a very delicious German food. A goulash soup with a piece of (as Germans call it) Kloß.
Really nice wine, but the Cola brand was not my favourite.
In general I really like old buildings!

First day we wanted to go inside but young security guy told that entrance requires reservation. Second day we made a reservation, but they disnt allow us to enter. Their behaviours were really rude.

We discovered this corner while searching on Google. A cozy atmosphere, but the decor is pretty boring. A frugal menu, which in my opinion is very meat-heavy, so that the vegan would have only one choice: one kind of soup and salad. Selection from Franconian wines, but mainly white wine, which is not enough. Two nice employees who come from time to time and check that everything is okay, otherwise very quiet. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't come again.

Racist establishment. My sister went to book a table for 4 for the 19th October. Manager said they’re fully booked, but she was not very convinced by the time she visit the restaurant was completely empty. Then she sent her friend (Italian) and he managed to reserve a table for 4 with no issue. When they confronted the manager he gave lame excuse, we have visited this establishment many times, with family u0026 friends, for business lunches, it’s a shame to be ruined by lousy manager. We won’t be setting foot anymore, our business lunch and meeting will be moved to other place which we are welcome! Black or white we spent the same ???? $€£ don’t prejudice! ✌️
