the name is misleading cause it's not a museum in the traditional sense. they do have an exhibition that changes every couple months (wood until June and the next theme will be graffiti/street art) but what they offer for kids is actually the opposite of what a museum does: the space is small, the exhibits limited in number and children are invited to touch everything, try everything out on their own and build and craft their own new pieces for the exhibitions. perfect for children age three and up. the admission is €5.50 for kids and adults alike and absolutely worth it. super friendly staff too.

The entrance fee is quite high for the quality of the exhibits. There was a wait to get in and a lot of the materials on offer had run out. My 8 and almost 5 year old were not very impressed, I would not recommend it.

Do not let your expectations be guided by the photos; Its not even close to that nice and they do not have any of the attractions they show. It was cheap and playful for the kids, so, I gave two star. We would not have gone if the pictures reflected the way it actually looked.

That place is anything but museum. The area is funny (tiny parking with 1 hour max), the building is old. Inside is small and not that clean. A lot of garbage stuff called “working shop for kids”. The ticket cost 5,5€ compared to Egyptian Museum for 7€ is crime. We visited the exhibition Holz. Hopefully others are better. We didn’t even make a single picture. The only nice thing was at the entrance are big samples of different woods

Great place for spending a couple of hours with your kids. It would be great if they had a coffee place for adults to sit and have a pause .

Not many things to do, and many of the expositions are either too complex or too simple for 3-6y olds... Place is quite small with not too many exponats.
