Friendly staff, great location, adequate single rooms. However, cleaners start moving furniture each morning for hours which made it impossible to sleep. Simple solution would be to cover the legs of the furniture with felt. No noise plus protects the floor too. A win win situation.

Dirty, rundown and unhygienic

Arrived on Sunday 12th June with 27 guests. Every single room had a problem from BLOOD on beds and bedding to broken toilet seats, a shower that did not function at all and a sink that had no pipe whatsoever. The whole hotel needs renovation. My room also had bed bugs and we will be writing to the Gesundheitamt. Should a Lawyer for the hotel try to bully me to remove my review, I have several photographs to back up my review and I will not be bullied. Absolutely appalling experience and all my passengers are now in other hotels across Kiel

We arrived at 11pm on a saturday and when we went out for dinner we forgot our only room key inside the room, we only received 1. The receptionist told us he doesn't have a second key and we had to wait until 7am to get into our room. I travel a lot for work and sleep in hotels at least twice a week but that was a first. I have never seen a hotel that doesn't have a spare key for a room and keeps their clients wait for multiple hours at night in the lobby (until 6:44). I had to give it 1 star although I have never given 1 star before. Please be aware of this hotel. You better spend 20€ more per night to be treated like a human being!

Ok hotel, not more, not less. Central location, very spacious rooms. A bit dated, but clean and over all ok.

Get this place for the excellent location, rest very simple, nothing bad. Doors n locks in need of update for some rooms

Great hotel but no toilet in reception.
You can only book in at 15.00 ,so if you arrive from a boat at 09.30 from Sweden you have a problem

Rooms are great if you get one on the upper floors facing the harbor.
The place is clean but would benefit from a renovation.
