Like much of northern Germany, Kiel is rather famous for its fish sandwiches. Strangely enough that are not many places in town that serve them, so it's good that the best one is so centrally located. Every once in a while you will get a dry bun, but that's about the worst that can happen to you. They have great variety, great prices, and great staff, and I try to make my way down there as often as possible.

This place has got the best fish and chips and Fischfrikadellen in Kiel. Very friendly service and prices are reasonable.
